Replacing your windows is a brilliant way to make your home warmer, safer and more stylish – not to mention adding value to it, too.

The first step in replacing your windows is getting a double glazing quote. Most people head straight to Google to search for a double glazing installer, whilst some people may ask friends who have recently had work completed for recommendations.

Lots of our enquiries come from word of mouth, and that’s something we pride ourselves on!

To get a double glazing quote, an installer will need:

  • Rough dimensions of all windows to be replaced
  • An idea of the style, finish and colour of windows you would like

Don’t worry though, we don’t expect you to measure up your own windows! We can do that for you at a home survey, where we will also bring you some brochures so you can pick out the perfect windows for your home.

Once we have this information we will be able to produce a double glazing quote for you.

All of our double glazing quotes are valid for 30 days, so you have plenty of time to decide whether you would like to go ahead. This also gives you plenty of time to ask us any questions you may have about your new windows, and get a fitting date booked in.

I have had all my windows replaced by DS Windows and Doors. It was a totally stress free experience. I didn't need to redecorate as they made such a good job of it. The price was great and the quality high. One of the windows slipped, but I phoned up and someone came out very quickly and made sure it was adjusted with no fuss. Would highly recommend.

Had a composite door fitted. The fitter was lovely and very good at his job the door looks wonderful. No draughts and the door lets in plenty of light unlike our old one. The locking mechanism looks to be extremely safe and secure. The whole process of buying said door was easy, from the rep who first came, to fitting the door. Big thanks to Matt for the job this week, replacing a glass panel with UPVC to install a cat flap in our new home.

It wasn't the nicest weather to be working outside and he was very patient with all my faffing about and overthinking the correct height for the hole!

After he was done he cleaned up after himself, and took away all the debris, leaving nothing behind but two happy cats (and one very pleased cat mama!).
